We’re pleased to announce that Newenham residents can now enjoy the convenience of having a local store right at their doorstep! X Convenience at Newenham has recently rebranded as bp X Convenience, continuing to offer all the essentials with the same great service.
Located at the entrance of Newenham, on the corner of Flaxley Road and Rainbird Drive, the store will be open from 5am – midnight every day offering local residents and the wider Hills community access to fuel, basic grocery items, Down Dog hot dogs, milkshakes, barista-made coffee, and a selection of fresh food.
The X Convenience store represents the first offering in Newenham’s future main street shopping and neighbourhood retail precinct, which will include a planned supermarket, specialty shops, outdoor dining, and main street shopping.
Burke Urban’s Chairman and Managing Director, Kym Burke said “The new X Convenience store will provide the Newenham community and residents of the western precinct of Mount Barker with fuel and convenience retailing”.
“We selected X Convenience as the fuel and convenience retailer due to their willingness to embrace Newenham’s Adelaide Hills architectural philosophy. The design of the building has taken inspiration from the iconic Newenham Barn which is a significant landmark of the development hosting a range of community events and workshops”.
