It’s been very exciting at Newenham lately. We’ve been progressing quickly to have a range of items completed before the winter weather sets in. One of our most noticeable achievements is the lighting – SA Power Networks has energised the site which means we have street lights on every night now!

You can see our very first home well underway on Newenham Parade which will be complete during Spring just in time for the owners to really enjoy the beautiful environment Newenham has to offer. We have another slab already laid and plenty of builder activity on site. New titles are currently being issued, which will enable many more residents to commence building.

We have completed a host of additional street tree planting, which has seen almost 180 gorgeous trees installed on our streets and some lovely oak trees planted in the Cork Close Reserve.

If you have been on site lately, you will have noticed activity on the right hand side of Rainbird Drive. This is our stormwater bund, water and sewer main connections and the start of the shared path which will link Newenham to Mount Barker town centre via Keith Stephenson Park.

One of our detention basins at the Bollen Road end has also been created, which will assist in protecting downstream properties from flooding during major weather events. There has also been an excavation on the northern side of the creek, which is the commencement of an additional detention basin which will be required in the future as Newenham grows.

Finally, the gas compound has been completed and the installation of LPG tanks will see the provision of reticulated gas throughout Newenham by Spring.

There has been a lot of activity on site, with plenty more to come. If you’re up in the gorgeous Adelaide Hills, pop in to the Sales & Information Centre, open every day fropm 12 – 5pm, and see for yourself why you’ll love living in Newenham.

We look forward to welcoming you to Newenham soon.
