We understand how unsettling the current environment is with life changing every day as new regulations and restrictions are introduced. In response to the latest advice on COVID-19, the decision has been made to cancel the remaining Feel Good Friday event due to be held on Friday April 3.
We are very sad to have to do this, but the health and wellbeing of the entire community is our highest priority right now. We look forward to enjoying fun times together when the world is ready.

The ‘Feel Good Friday’ Twilight Series returned to Newenham Adelaide Hills on the first Friday of the month in February and March 2020, however the final Friday for this season due to be held on April 3 been cancelled.
Since December 2017, our Feel Good Friday twilight sessions have always had something to enjoy for the whole family. Feel Good Fridays are free events and they’re the perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy week. There’ll be a bunch of fun activities to keep the kids entertained, so mum and dad can relax with friends or family in the beautiful natural environment of Newenham.
2020 Feel Good Friday at Newenham
Delight in a range of local food and drinks and sit back and enjoy the sounds of great live music, all while comfortably nestled under the shade of the stunning trees in our beautiful natural pocket of the Adelaide Hills.
There’ll be a wide variety of food available from wood fired pizzas to baked potatoes and wieners (sausages/snags), waffles, sweet treats and more. We’ll also have a selection of local wines and beers and for non-drinkers there will be plenty of tea, coffee, soft drinks, shakes and other delights.
Our Feel Good Friday events are family-friendly, with plenty of space for kids to play and explore while you relax and watch the sun sets to the west over the undulating hills of Newenham.
A Place to Live and Grow
Feel Good Fridays and other events are just one piece of what makes Newenham such a special place for your family to live and grow. Our shaded lawn area under the magnificent leafy trees is the perfect spot to socialise with friends, family and neighbours both new and old. And after the twilight session is over, the tree-lined streets guide our residents on a peaceful walk back home, keeping them surrounded by nature.
Feel Good Fridays are a great way to start the weekend and shake off the stress of work and school. These events will run once a month, on the first Friday of each month, during February, March and April 2020, from 5pm. Be sure to save the dates in your calendar and invite your friends along for to make your experience all that more enjoyable. There’s plenty of free parking on the paddock, too!

February 7 — Market Night
On Market Night, we’ll have a variety of market vendors selling local and handmade treasures. Look forward to live music as well as a special performance from Ink Pot Arts as they give you a sneak peak of their new show “Jack & Jill and the beanstalk, an environmental tale”. There’ll also be plenty of activities for the kids, as well as local food and drinks.
March 6 — Arts & Entertainment
Join us for a night filled with entertainment! We’ll have some amazingly talented entertainers performing along with live music and a host of fun activities for kids. And it wouldn’t be a Feel Good Friday without loads of amazing food and drink from local vendors.
April 3 — Easter Celebrations – CANCELLED
Hop into Easter festivities with our April Feel Good Friday Event. There’ll be a range of Easter activities, chocolate surprises and maybe even a visit from ‘you know who’. A face painter will turn your little ones into bunnies and we’ll even have an artist painting an original artwork throughout the night. There’ll be plenty of local food and drink vendors available to satisfy anyone’s cravings.
Join us for the 2020 Feel Good Friday twilight sessions at Newenham. Starting from 5pm at 164 Flaxley Road, Mount Barker, it’ll be the place to be if you want to relax and recharge ready for the weekend. There’s plenty of free parking in the paddock too!
