With the summer sun comes a lot of progress at Newenham recently, so here’s the inside scoop on all the activity you can’t see by simply driving past our land development on Flaxley Road.
Our resident’s dream homes are now coming to fruition as there are now 10 houses currently under construction. Four homes are almost complete with many more due to start this week, and our first three homes already have residents living on site. How exciting!
We’ve also recently announced our Botanic Release of only 14 allotments with a few blocks already sold to keen residents. These lots are in a prime position with desirable land sizes between 1,000sqm to 2,385sqm. The extra-large, near flat allotments are rural in character with most backing onto a peaceful and tree-lined reserve.

Most of our roads are in place with Springfield Road easily connecting visitors and locals alike from Rainbird Drive up to our beautifully restored Sales and Information Centre. We’ve also continued with our landscaping, with the installation of our shared walk and bike path starting soon. This path will connect residents to the town centre of Mount Barker and the bus interchange and will be an easy 2km walk following the creek contours through Keith Stephenson Park, perfect for a relaxing walk with family and friends – plus any four legged pals!
And last but certainly not least, we’ve just kicked off the first of our Feel Good Fridays twilight sessions at Newenham in conjunction with the Adelaide Hills Farmers Market. The events are a place to relax and unwind after a long working week and enjoy local food and drinks, live music and peruse some charming market stalls. Discover how the first one went here.
