Mini Farmers is back these School Holidays

Roll up your sleeves and step into the gumboots of a real farmer these school holidays! Kitchen Farm’s ‘Mini Farmer’ event invites kids to step into the heart of our garden for a morning of farm chores, animal care and discovery.

Children will begin the morning on the lawns in front of our restaurant, where they’ll receive their farm chores and baskets before heading to the garden to meet our farm team. Along the way, they’ll learn how to care for animals, tend to crops, and get a taste of what life on a working farm is really like.

Mini Farmer chores include:

  • Feeding the chickens
  • Collecting the eggs
  • Picking fresh seasonal vegetables
  • Learning about harvesting, growing and beneficial garden bugs
  • The event will finish with children delivering their harvest to the kitchen, earning their mini farmer badge
  • Families are welcome to enjoy lunch on our lawns or in The Pantry. Please note bookings are required
