We are proud to announce that Burke Urban and partners are donating $180,000 worth of proceeds from the sale of Lot 6 at our Newenham development in Mount Barker to South Australiaโs Crows Childrenโs Foundation.
The new owners of this beautiful block, Aromel and Priya, are glad that their new home will help the Adelaide Crows Childrenโs Foundation raise and distribute funds for sick and disadvantaged children across the country through health, education and welfare programs. Thank you Aromel and Priya for your generosity and thoughtfulness, we hope you enjoy your new life at Newenham.
Aromel and Priyaโs new home will be on a picturesque block of landย situated in Stage 2 of our Botanic Release. The superb corner allotment is located directly across the road from a peaceful reserve, and is the fourth land donation we have made with our partners to the Adelaide Crows over the past six years.
Burke Urban Managing Director Kym Burke is humbled by the thought of helping those in need through such a wonderful charity. Over the past six years, Burke Urban and our related joint venture partners have donated in excess of $450,000 from previous allotment sales within our developments to the Crows Junior Development Program, with an additional $180,000 now donated to the Crows Childrenโs Foundation.
As passionate advocates for enriching the health, happiness and wellbeing of our community, we feel this is a perfect match, not only for Newenham and Burke Urban, but for our future residents too. The opportunity to help support the youngest members of the community is dear to our hearts. This grant will complement the support given to Variety the Childrenโs Charity over nearly three decades by the Burke family and our partners, Wicks Estate Wines.
