We’re thrilled to welcome our first future residents to Newenham – Nairne couple Jodi and Mike as well as Annette from Bateman’s Bay in New South Wales. They are looking forward to moving into their new homes during the Spring of 2017. For Jodi and her husband it was love at first sight and immediately felt like the perfect place to raise their young family.
“We have five-year-old twin girls and recently sold our home in Nairne to search for options on a larger block, with more of a country feel, that we could really call home,” Jodi said.

Annette plans to build a simple, sustainable and functional home in this enviable setting where she can settle in to enjoy her retirement. “When Newenham popped up on my iPad, the whole wellness philosophy and sense of community instantly resonated with me,” she said.
“The proposed eight-hectare community farm and openness to markets within the community really suits my lifestyle and I’m sure these features will bring together like-minded people.”
Annette, who retires at the end of the school term, added that she just wants to “enjoy life, embrace everything it has to offer and be closer to my family and grandchildren…and I can’t wait to settle in.”
