It provides you with the option to connect with local professionals who can help turn your dreams into reality. And if you find a particular product really catches your eye, you can purchase it direct through the website (although be careful not to get caught up with international providers who don’t ship to Australia). If you haven’t visited Houzz before rest assured it’s easy to sign up via email or through Facebook. But let us warn you, it can be addictive.

Ah, Pinterest. Is there anything you can’t find on Pinterest? Use it as a search engine and simply type in what you’re looking to find – you’ll be amazed with the thousands upon thousands of images and websites you will discover. Create boards and ‘pin’ the pages you like to them so you can go back later, or send them to your significant other to get their feedback instantly. Beware though, you can lose hours of your day (or night) as you happily pin away.
